A little more about me

Hello 👋🏼, I'm Julie.

Before becoming a designer 🎨 I spent several years in sales 💰 📈  where I  listened👂🏼 to customers, built relationships 🤝  and drove revenue - it was an amazing way to understand how a company operates, makes money, retains valuable customers and uses those customer anecdotes to drive product strategy.

I combine my background with a Master's of Science 🎓 in Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington, to listen & solve people centered problems daily. My strengths 💪🏼  include balancing the needs of cross functional teams, interacting with stakeholders, conducting user research and using human centered design methods to guide my work.  I believe in delivering thoughtfully crafted experiences that are grounded in user research & focus on solving the right problem.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest 🌲  I enjoy creating pottery, traveling, cooking, skiing, and laughing at my hilarious Siberian Forrest Cat, Benji (@benji_sits on instagram).
